Whoah, little-man, you’re full term today! 9 months old!
Noah is talking and laughing more than ever. Mostly he just says “da-da-da”, but he says it alot and often and points with his little finger. He loves to laugh and he loves to play with just about anything, he especially loves his books. He brings you the ones you should read out loud for him and he sits in front of his books and looks at the pictures. So cute.
Potty training is going so good, NO MORE POOPY DIAPERS! I really hope when I change to cloth diapers next month he will be done with the diaper business when he turns one.
Eating: He wants to eat all by himself now. Excuse me Mr. Independent, I have spinach all over me ;) He wants to eat what I have, as soon as he sees me eat he crawls over and makes funny noises - like he is begging for food. He loves veggies and fruit, actually he likes pretty much everything - I'll eat. He always wants some "finger food" in front of him so he can eat all by himself while I feed him (Usually cut banana and cucumber is fine).
Noah has definitely mastered crawling. No more scooting and now he is moving around everywhere. He is now able to go from crawling to sitting to laying down to sitting back up. No more just putting down the baby to do something really quick. He crawls at lightning speed when he sees something he likes to have. Fortunately he gives a little warning-sound before he "run's off" so I know when the trouble starts. He is grabbing whatever he possibly can and pulls himself up on furniture to stand and to grab more stuff. By the end of the day, we are both pretty much exhausted! He is getting into everything, checking everything out and trying to "taste and eat" everything. I hope he will master the word "No" soon, I am using it a lot lately. It is crazy how fast this all happened. First the scooting and right after crawling like a champ - soon walking! Uh oh. He really wants to walk already, usually pulling himself up on me and trying to take my hands and if I hold his hands off he goes. So cute.
Sleeping: Not so good. I still don't get it. He was a perfect sleeper since he was born. He just woke once or even sleeping through the night from birth to age 8 month. Now he wakes at least 4 times. Grrrr. He still takes two naps a day, at around 9am (oh yeah, he wakes up in the morning at 6am on the dot - hello little early bird?!) and after lunch, at 1pm. I am trying to figure this out, online and in my book it says it is normal because of all the new stuff he is learning right now and going through but nothing about how to fix it and when he will return to his normal sleep pattern. I am just hoping he will sleep better soon and sleep through the night. It's very hard to do this when your husband is not here and when you are the only one who have to get up EVERY NIGHT like that. I am not complaining, I got perfect sleep for the last 8 month, I know a lot of parents don't get any of that for the longest time.
Noah is just so freaking cute - his smile, his little voice, his everything! I love him so much!
He is holding his cup all by himself!
He loves when I make him little, vegan pancakes - he can hold and eat all by himself - perfect!
He loves the washing machine (pretty much every electronic devise) - especially during potty time!
